Any business must cover at least 3 kinds of expenses in order to stay in business. In their purest forms these expenses include salaries, variable expenses and fixed expenses. In order to run the following "Recession Special" I am forgoing my fixed expenses as well as some variable expenses. Therefore, I can only offer this special for scheduled shoots that do not interfere with my commercial shoots.

The following fees are for "Personal Use" works only. Although I normally do not keep track of how many shots I am shooting the following fees would entitle the client to a disk with a minimum of 20 photos per hour of clean and printable professional grade photographs.
Photographer fee: $65.00 = first 2 hours. $25.00/ hour after second hour. The photographer will need full access to the subjects that he is at the event to photograph. If the subjects move around the photographer needs to be able to move with the action.
Additional fees: $25.00 handling and set-up for non-handheld equipment other than basic strobes. This is for any special equipment the photographer would need to do portraiture style photography. The normal contract calls for photojournalistic/documentary style photography only. The client is also responsible for furnishing any props or additional equipment (rented or purchased) they want used in the photographs.
Travel fees: For local photo shoots there are no travel fees. A small fee may be added for any photo shoots outside the city limits of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Of course, the client will be responsible for travel, food and lodging expenses on extended trips for a photography shoot.
Assitants fee: (if needed) $12.00/hour + travel expenses on extended trips.
If you plan to use these photos for any form of "for profit" activity you will need to contact HKB Photo for permission. This would fulfill requirements to meet copyright law. The photographer maintains full copyright protection of all work done on each shoot.

Commercial Fees
Although my commercial work is quoted as a "day rate" experienced editors will acknowledge that what they are paying for is a day of shooting and another day of "project/job completion" work. Basically, my overhead currently allows me to keep my "day rate" at or below $280/8 hour day + expenses + fees for intended use of photographs. In order to meet client needs it is often necessary for the photographer to charge for services that need to be performed "prior to and after" the actual scheduled shoot. Clients are charged for additional expenses that any photographer incurs while on an assignment, including lodging, food and travel. More correctly, however, photography fees are also based upon the needs of the client. Personal or Commercial? Many other factors must be determined by client needs. Please call me to discuss your needs, and I will work hard to earn your trust for your photography needs.

The image(s) may not be used in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, collect fees, or receive any form of remuneration. The image(s) may not be used in advertising. Commercial Use License
What you can do: Photographer grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use this image for permitted commercial purposes, defined as:
advertising, promotion, brochures, packaging, as part of a commercial website for promotional purposes (maximum 800x600pixels) use prints, posters, flyers, tearsheets for promotional purposes (not for resale), prints, posters, or other commercial display of image in magazines, books, newspapers, other printed publications, video, broadcast, or theatrical use.
What you may not do: Buyer may not resell, relicense, redistribute without express written permission from photographer. Use as a derivative work, and reselling or redistributing such derivative work is prohibited. Images may not be used in a pornographic, obscene, illegal, immoral, libelous or defamatory manner. Images may not be incorporated into trademarks, logos, or service marks. Image may not be made available for download.
Photographer retains all rights, license, copyright, title and ownership of the image(s).
There is no warranty, express or implied, with the purchase of this digital image file. Neither photographer nor HKB Photo will be liable for any claims, or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or buyer's use of the image(s).
